About Course

You are going to learn how to design and model using the industry’s leading 3D software, Revit.

Let’s face it. Learning new software is often complicated and difficult. Doing it by yourself makes it even harder, but it doesn’t need to be that way. In this course, you will be learning from a Master’s student who has practical Revit experience across three architectural firms (which all use Revit as a main design and documentation tool). You will be able to follow along to learn the skills and confidence you need to use the software efficiently in a professional setting.

You can spend days, weeks or months learning Revit by yourself, and not necessarily learning it the right way. In Kyle’s 4-hour course, you can fast-track that journey to gain the skills to design and model in Revit at a professional level.

Most online Revit tutorials or courses are boring, slow going and demonstrate incorrect practices. If you’ve watched Kyle’s videos before, you’d know that these Revit tutorials are fun, fast and easy to follow.

You ripper! Excellent course that really breaks down Revit into bite size chunks and brings them all together through a relevant design project.

Good so far. I just emailed you a question, but since sending the email have got the answer.

When you were making the levels and then saved your work, I didn't see you click the levels button. I re-watched it and paused it a few times and then I saw you click levels. Later in the video you also confirmed this when you said "click architecture and levels".

It was really nice. I just didn't like that you spent so much time figuring out the details of the house we were modeling. It would have been better if you had come with all the specifics in hand and just explained the modeling process in Revit. I imagine you did it to teach us how to deal with things when we don't have all the data, but it was a bit impractical. When we need to review something later, it's unpleasant to have those uncertainties in our way. I hope you understand my point. However, it's a very good course, and I really enjoyed it. I've recommended it to all my colleagues at Uni =)

Like the straight forward plain English jargon dodging and avoidance of thick technical deviations. All helps to keep things on track and interest engaged,#.

Far more helpful than anything I learned in school (doing a 3-year MARCH right now after a Bach in Env Science, and they spent a week teaching Revit and I learned very little). Wish I'd had this earlier, but I'm super happy to have it now! On to the intermediate now soon ha ha Thank you!!

This beginner course really helped me feel less overwhelmed by Revit. There were hardly any times I was lost which is something that happens all the time when learning it in school. I will definitely be using the next few courses to master this program. Thank you!

Hi Kyle

I'm stuck part one, creating levels?
how do I create levels using Revit 2024?
My setup looks so different from yours, don't seem to have all components.

This course was so helpful and easy to follow along. I feel so much more confident in this application since everything was broken down step by step. I also appreciated how things were explained through listing command options and pros and cons to using them verse another method. Just signed up for the intermediate course and I'm looking forward to learning more, thanks for your help!
